Ahhhh.. I have to do the 1 hour glucose test again!!***Updated

Cause I SUCK!! The lab told me to fast. So from 6:30 last night i didnt have anything but water. I woke up went to the lab, drank that lovely orange crap in 3 minutes (you only have 5 to drink it), and then told my Dh i was going outside for fresh air and I projectiled the drink out of me in 1 minute. (Sorry if TMI) I am so mad that I have to drink that stuff all over again. I also dont understand why I know so many people who didnt have to fast?? I told this to the lab and they told me to call my doctor today...Did anyone else have throw theirs up...I have always had bad morning sickness so its so hard for me.. Round 2 tomorrow 6:30 am.

**UPDATE**
My dr.s office called me back and told me i didnt have to fast and to try not to eat too many carbs..So tomorrow i will try again..Hope this works this time!!

oh yucky hope you pass btw i didnt have to fast for my test..i ate two eggs with cheese for breakfast about an hour before my test and Passed

I had to do the glucose test at 12 weeks (PCOS and other reasons) and I managed to hold it down until AFTER they drew blood. Then i proceeded to projectile vomit all over the exam room lol

I have to go back in 2 weeks to repeat it again. And I didn't have to fast, just stop eating/drinking 2 hrs before drinking that crap.

Yea my doc told me to fast for it. I felt sooooo crappy, but thankfully I was able to keep it down. Hopefully I passed.

I failed my 1hr because I ate a piece of wheat toast before it..

I was told to fast before the 3hr only and only after midnight, from 6.30pm on is WAY too long

I can see that happening to me.
I don't do well on an empty stomach... and then drinking a bottle of sugar.. no way.
Plus then they take blood- which causes me to faint anyway.

I am dreading this test!

I was told by my Dr I did not have to fast.

I had my test at 6 am, I ate a bowl of fruity pebbles the night before (around 10pm) and had one cup of coffee in the am with 2 tsp of sugar.

I passed the test with like a 77.

The drink (which I used the entire 5 minutes) did make me feel queasy and dizzy. I read this is common because some people handle glucose different.
