$150 per window
We are moving into our new house in January which needs new windows (about 25). We were quoted by one contractor $150 per window plus the cost of the window, is this a lot?

Re: $150 per window
look into window world or a few other places in the pennysaver... they are running deals of roughly 225 per window fully installed....

Re: $150 per window
wow! we got EXCELLENT quality windows (we saw a HUGE difference in oil) from tri-state. it was about 225.00 per window. triple pane all that crapola.
they were clean and neat. and, there was a definite difference (as stated above) in my efficiency.
all we did were 7 upstairs windows.. plus two basement windows, but it was the best thing we did. DH recommended it, i was happy with the original anderson windows....
plus they will give you the special thingy for your A/Cs. if you put them in your window...
depends on company and quality of window, really...
good luck.
PS, i really really like tri state.
