Formula mixing question from a new mom

Hi ladies!

I have a quick question about mixing powdered formula. How many scoops do I need to mix 3.5 oz?

On the label it says=

1 scoop- 2 oz
2 scoop- 4 oz
4 scoop- 8 oz

Based on her eating habits, my pediatrician said I can start offering her 3.5 oz but I've got no clue how to mix it. Would it be easier to just make 4 oz and she will eat what she needs? I'm scared to get it wrong!

TIA

Faith - make her a 4 ounce bottle and let her take what she wants.

I FREAKED when it came time to start using the powder (we used RTF for a while after I came home form the hospital) because I thought for sure I'd screw up the measuring - he was taking 3 ounces at the time. I just made 4 ouncers and stopped him at 3.

Thanks ladies! It's so nerve wracking at the beginning- I'm so relaxed about everything else, this is the one thing that scares me!

Vanessa should I lock Josie up now or later?

I had the same issue when I started using powder for DD. Dr. Brown's makes a pitcher, I love it and it's only 16.99 at BRU!! You make all the formula for the day, there are less air bubbles and no clumps. Look into it.
