Harassing calls from hospital photographer!
Has anyone else been getting these? Someone keeps calling saying they are the hospital photographer. The number comes up on caller ID as Paul Blonder. They call me multiple times per day, I asked to be removed from the list multiple times, reported them to the FCC.
They have called me 4 times today!!! When you call back the number, they hang up on you. Seems like a scam, but I am tired of them calling.

I think this is a scam. When I had DS, we had his picture taken at the hospital. Shortly after that, I started getting phone calls at home from someone claiming to be from the photography company. They told me they could come to my house for "followup" photos. I told them no, and they actually got angry with me. I called the company that did my DS's photos and they knew nothing of this person or phone number that came up on my caller ID. Very scary and definitely a scam!

Thanks I thought it was a scam. She was like oh really, when I told her I didn't have my baby yet. If they were really from the hospital they would know that!

That is very scary. Maybe you can forward the information to the police.

Paul and. Mona blonder operate as award photographers. I dealt with then twice after I delivered each of my kids. I delivered at winthrop. While I did use them for newborn portraits, getting them to stop calling me took a long time.

Now that you know where they are from I would call the hospital & complain.

Thanks, found their website, that is who they are. DH called them from his work number and asked for a supervisor and they put him on hold and then hung up on him too!
Wait until they try to come in to get me to take pictures of the baby at the hospital. I'll tell them where they can put their camera!!!

As an aspiring photographer myself, I learned about a marketing tool photographers can pay for that sells them the names and addresses of expectant moms and new parents. I dont know where they get the information, or why these companies would have the right to sell it to anyone. I know some fellow photographers will send a postcard to these people. This is probably how these people got your information.
I have yet to receive a phone call from anyone and I'm hoping it stays that way.

They were NOT the hospital photographers!! They just get your name somehow and harrass you to no end. Even when I told them my dad was having an eight hour surgery and I did not want b-day pics of my kids, they replied with "we'll give you a free 8x10"

Good. It doesnt sound like they are following any laws or regulations (I have nothing against telemarketers - but how do they find out you are EXPECTING? I dont get it!)

Probably from the places you register with (BRU, BBB) Just like how I have been receiving samples of Enfamil and Similac and copies of all different pregnancy magazines.

I found a similar post to this after I had them come to my house and take pics. Now they are coming over on Sunday to show me the proofs. I didn't order anything yet. I want to see their work first.
And yes, they are quite annoying with all the phone calls. I didn't answer most of them before I had my son. My mom did talk to them while I was in the hospital and she told them to not call back until the middle of November as I had a difficult delivery and was on bed rest. I answered the phone one day just to shut them up. Didn't cost me anything to have them come to my house and take pics. Now I will see if they are legit or not...

i had them calling me too after i delivered at Winthrop. they kept telling me that they wanted to come over and do a free photo shoot of DS. i wasnt interested and besides, i know that nothing is ever "free". it took them awhile, but after getting nasty with them they finally stopped calling!

I would start putting their phone number on every bathroom wall, posting it in craigslist ads, signing their email up for spam and every other thing you can think of so they start getting calls too. Or, when their number comes up, blow an air horn into the phone. I'm not even kidding. Maybe you can bring your phone records to the police and they can be charged with harassment.

Yeah 360photo was the hosptial. Award was different
BOTH called me endlessly. Thankfully my phone would caller id them and I'd let it go.
I actually bought my hospital photos from 360 and I wanted the newborn shots but I was so busy and things just got away from me. I scheduled and cancelled three times  Then I felt guilty so when AWARD called me I said "youre from the hosptial right?" and they said yes (duh of course) and so they came and did photos. It was then I realized they weren't but they were on time, polite and very good at getting my kiddo's picture.
I meant the owner later for the purchasing. I really NEVER wanted anyone in my home to be honest. Once was more than enough for my comfort.
They both left me alone after that. Say about 6weeks after. But the 'hosptial' stopped calling after kept saying I wanted no strangers in my home. Kept trying to get an studio appt but they and I couldnt agree on time. *Shrug*

I delivered at South Nassau and they took pictures of DS #1 after I had him 2 years ago. They didnt call this time though and I almsot wish they did so the baby pics of each were the same.

I have gotten the same calls from Paul Blonder 516-351-4916 and Paul Blonder 631-659-3388 caller ID showed.When I called the 516 number the "studio" employee was very invasive of giving information and makes me wonder what they have to hide and how unprofessional they are. she refused her name and said it was Award studio in Plainview and I informed her of harassing calls and she tried to get my info while being invasive of even giving me the studios name. she said i must of had a baby recently,I said no its been MANY years so it must be the BS line they give. I'm figuring a visit to Target studios in Setauket for my children pictures because Target studios are NOT owned by target and owned by outsiders which the one i went to was owned by Life touch and i think it came back to Nassau maybe Leviittown somewhere. So I think these deceptive individuals are selling peoples information to telemarketers or studio "friends". I called the 631 number and went to a fax after many rings. You can do *57 to trace the number for phone company to keep a record of Harassment. Also file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau,FTC.gov,etc to hurt their records,especially BBB which shows complaints for 3 years,even if closed.also got a call from 516-351-4914 “photographers”
