When did you newborn start to sleep longer stretches

And, I am talking about the baby that is in the crib (or bassinet, co-sleeper etc) NOT a baby that sleeps in a bouncy or a swing.

Tyler is going to be 6 weeks and wakes every three hours on the nose - and he us starving. He's a bigger boy (probablly 11+lbs now) so I know he needs to eat, I am just looking forward to the day I can get 3.5 hours of sleep at this point.

My twins started at about 9-10 weeks.

At 8 weeks my DD started STTN from 10pm'ish to 9am. By 12 weeks old she was STTN from 7pm to 7am.

I feel for you. Derek is 10 weeks today and still up every 2-3 hours to eat. He is bigger also. At this point I dont think I will get much sleep until he hits the 4 mo. mark and I start him on cereal.

I put him in his crib at 3 weeks, around 6 weeks he started sleeping 5 hour stretches and at 8 weeks started doing 10 hours.

DD is 9 weeks, she did a 6 hour stretch last night, from 12-6am. Had a bottle, slept until 10am. Had another bottle and is currently napping.

She usually does a good 5-6 hour stretch, will wake for a bottle, then sleep another 3-4 hours in the am. I cant complain, just wish shed go to bed earlier so we could move the whole sched

Around four weeks about 6 hour stretch. It isn't totally consistent yet though

At about 6 weeks my DS started to sleep one 5-6 hour stretch.

DD is almost 7 weeks and she slept 7 hours last night. I'm hoping it's not a fluke! She's been basically increasing an hour each week (5 hours at 5 weeks, 6 hours at 6 weeks, etc). Praying it keeps increasing! She is BFed.

Luce is an eating machine. i don't think I'll be sleeping until I start him on steak

Our ds is 10 1/2 weeks and is just starting to do 4 - 4 1/2 hour stretches...but they're not that common and when they do happen it's usually only once a night. He gets up 2 1/2 - 3 hours the rest of the night. He's breastfed (which I heard is part of the reason) and he's a small baby (still under 11 lbs). His ped said we could expect better stretches & better nights after he hits 13 lbs.

6+ hour stretches by 7 weeks.
8+ hours by 9 weeks.
The last few weeks she's been STTN 11-12 hours, she's 14 1/2 weeks now.

DD is now 2mths old and started to sleep long stretches around 5/6 wks. She was born 9lbs 9ozs and is an eating machine and is now 12lbs+. Her last bottle is around 10pm and she wakes up anytime bet. 6am-9am.

DD will be 10 weeks tomorrow, and since about 7 weeks she's been giving me 4-5 hour stretches. at first they were pretty sporadic, now every night i get at least one 4-5 hour stretch. usually it's 2. she'll go to bed at 930, wake up around 130, eat, go back to sleep until about 6. even then she's not up for the day and will usually sleep for another 2-3 hours.

Kevin is almost 12 weeks and he STILL wakes up 2x a night to eat, he is a bigger boy too (he was 13lbs at 2 months)

he eats every 3-4 hours during the day and last night, for example, he ate at 8:30ish and slept until midnight and then was up at 5 to eat again, then up at 8:30 for the day

At around 4 weeks old, DD was going longer stretches...

She'd eat at 8:30ish and sleep until 2:00/2:30 (sometimes 3am), and then would get up again around 6/6:30 to eat again. Maybe a couple of times per week, she'd wake around 11pm too to eat.

By 9 weeks old, she dropped that middle of the night feeding and was STTN.

By 6.5 weeks she was Sttn about 75% of the time (woke at 5 for a feeding)
By 10 weeks it was closer to 90% of the time
By 3 months she was Sttn almost every night... its extremely rare for her to wake up
She sleeps 8:30pm to 7:30 am pretty much every night

eta prior to 6.5 weeks DD was a terrible sleeper, I almost never had longer than a 3 hour stretch. It was like something clicked overnight and she became a better sleeper very abrubtly

DS is almost 4 month and still wakes up alot to eat through out the night. His longest stretch is between 7 and midnight, but then wakes every 3 hours or so after that.

First daughter 6.5 weeks from waking twice a night to sstn. My preemie twins (2.5 motnhs early) at 12 weeks (with some encouragement from mom).

Everyone slept in their crib from day 1.

Since week 5 we get the occasional 6 hour stretch but at 7 weeks 4 hours is more the norm.
