3rd Trimester Ladies & Shoes
What kind of shoes are you wearing? My feet are soooo swollen that I'm still in flip flops...but it's getting really chilly. With about 2 weeks left, I don't want to spend $$ on new shoes though.

Re: 3rd Trimester Ladies & Shoes
I've been wearing lace-up shoes. Nothing else fits :(
I can't even get my feet in my winter boots.
A friend of mine who wear a couple of sizes bigger than me is letting me borrow an old pair of her uggs so i at least can wear something comfy.
I totally feel you though - it totally sucks but i'm not buying new shoes when I'm this close to my due date!

Re: 3rd Trimester Ladies & Shoes
Payless has these slipper like shoes that everyone is wearing now. They are supposed to be very comfortable. I'm still in my regular size though, so I haven't needed to buy new ones.

Re: 3rd Trimester Ladies & Shoes
I gave up on flip flops after I fell a couple of months ago so I bought a pair of cheap Adidas sneakers from Kohls and I love them.
For work, I bought a size bigger from Payless when I needed new work shoes and they still work nicely. I only wear them in the office though.

Re: 3rd Trimester Ladies & Shoes
Sears has slip on shoes by Lands End, and they're really comfy. They're on sale for about $25 too.
Good luck.

Re: 3rd Trimester Ladies & Shoes
I'm wearing boots a lot from payless. They take me like 10 minutes to put on bc of the bending! I need to get some comfy slip ons.

Me too. I love them, they are so comfy. The best part is that I dont have to bend down to tie any shoe laces.

Re: 3rd Trimester Ladies & Shoes
Oh do I feel your pain...I wear flip flops or a pair of slip on that i bought in target....2 sizes bigger!!!! It's horrible. I can't wear any of my shoes...and its not even from swelling...my ligaments have gotten so loose in my feet im afraid once this kid comes this week I wont be able to wear any of my old shoes.

Re: 3rd Trimester Ladies & Shoes
My feet have been a little swollen for awhile but I've been in denial and have been forcing them into my usual flats. Unfortunately, the swelling increased this weekend so I think I'm going to have to make a trip to Payless for work shoes tomorrow. I have a pair of slip on flats from Land's End at Sears that I bought last winter and those still work great on the weekends - they're very comfy!

Re: 3rd Trimester Ladies & Shoes
My feet and legs were so incredibly swollen throughout the 3rd trimester that I couldn't wear any of my shoes. I couldn't fit into flip flops, sneakers or Uggs. I went out and bought a pair of black sneakers 1 size larger than my regular size so I could get away with wearing them at work. Luckily my feet pretty much went back down to my pre-pregnancy size after giving birth.

Re: 3rd Trimester Ladies & Shoes
I just wear dressier ballet flats to work, and sneakers or uggs on the weekends...unfortunately, I am always so hot, so the uggs are a little much for me, heatwise...but very comfy!
