Under a year.. is it ok to use eggs in recipes?

I know I have done this but I was just looking for a recipe to make her and it suggested not using eggs till a year.

I'm not 100% sure, but I know they are allowed the yolk of the egg before 1 years old. It is the egg whites that are the problem.

I feel like there is a lot of mixed info out there about eggs. Chloe is 9 1/2 months and she was reaching for my scrambled eggs a few weeks ago. I gave her a tiny piece and she loved it. I was scared to give her more so I asked her ped and he said it is fine... I know on the wholesome baby food website it says egg yolks are ok earlier than egg white (this part can be allergic). Chloe has been eating eggs and has been fine. I wasn't as scared to give them to her because she hasnt had any bad reactions yet to any other foods.

both my DC had scrambled eggs before 1 (although I believe they shouldn't have the white prior to a year.) I always cooked with eggs and never really thought about it

my doc told me at Sash's 9 month appt no eggs.

Ethan's had scrambled eggs already..ped. said egg yolk only, but he didn't like just the yolk...can't say I blame him.

The whites are the allergenic part...but he didn't have a problem.

Just to clarify, Im not giving her straight eggs.

The recipe was for mini muffins.

Shes already had eggs in meatballs so I guess it is fine.

Lexi eats everything ( aside from the obvious nuts, honey etc...)

Ped gave no restrictions at all.

I got the Okay to give eggs at 7 months as part of a recipe. And to give eggs like scrambled or poached at 9 months

My ped said no eggs until a year, but if something had eggs in it (cooked with eggs) it was ok.
I don't really understand what the difference is, but ok.

My ped said egg yolk only until 1 year.

dd is 10 months and eating scrambled eggs.

we were given the ok for eggs at 9 months... someo fo the breakfast baby meals actually have egg yolks in them so my ped told us to just go straight to whole eggs...
