Re: h1n1 injection

I got it two weeks ago and had no adverse reactions (not even a sore arm)

I was scared to get it and debated whether or not I should get it for weeks. Now that it is over with, I am glad I got it.

Re: h1n1 injection

there are very rare nerve related side effects, but they are common with the regular flu as the would be with the h1n1 shot

Re: h1n1 injection

I got it yesterday because I have a 6 week old and I feel fine so far. I was scared to get it too but did it to protect my son.

I got it a week agoand had the tiniest sore arm. I got the seasonal flu shot as well in my right arm and that arm was soooo sore I could hardly use it.

No other effects Chat Icon

It is very very very very rare for something to go wrong with the flu shot. There is more of a chance of you getting the flu and getting seriously ill.

I got it last week: NYC was giving out single dose mercury free shots to pregnant women with their school program. It was free too!

No symptoms and I am feeling fit as a fiddle.

Re: h1n1 injection

That is extremely rare-you are more likely to die from the swine flu if not vaccinated then to end up like that from the actual vaccine.

I got the shot a month ago, no side effects so fat.

Re: h1n1 injection

I got it and felt a little sluggish the next day but was completely fine after that. My arm wasn't even sore like it was from the seasonal shot.

Re: h1n1 injection

i felt totally fine afterwards,
i felt worse after getting the seasonal flu shot, my arm hurt for about 3 days and i felt super crappy the next day

you have to remember there will always be stories about reactions to these shots but they are not the norm, i don't know why these reactions happen but it is rare compared to how many thousands of these shots are administered yearly

Re: h1n1 injection

I got it 2 weeks ago. Initially I wasn't going to get it - I was totally against it, but I talked to several docs and they all advised that given the increase in swine flu cases in my area, for the baby I should get it so I did.

My arm hurt for a few hours after but thats it.
