How much weight did your DC gain in a month?

I just had another checkup today at the ped and Ian gained another 5oz which brings him to only 11oz in 4 weeks. he was 8lbs 15oz when he was born, left the hospital at 8lbs 5oz and now is 9lbs 10oz. doctor still seems concerned. how much did your DC gain?

ETA DS has been BF all month. I just started supplimenting this past week.

My DD was also 8lbs 15oz when she was born, she came home at 8lbs 2oz. 3 days shy of 1 month, she was 10 lbs 15 oz.

Athan was 7 lbs 2 ounces at birth, at his 2 month visit he was 12 lbs 7 ounces.

Ryan seemed to average an ounce a day in the beginning. Colin is so far at 2 ounces a day.

My ped likes to see 1/2 to 1 ounce a day gain in the beginning

in 4 weeks (28 days), that would be 14-28 ounce gain

I would not worry TOO much but he does seem to be gaining slower than that rate

DS was 8 lbs 1 oz at birth, left the hospital at 7 lbs 2 or 3 oz. At his 2 month appointment, he was 13 lbs 1 oz. His weight gain slowed down a lot after that. BF babies typically grow quickly at the beginning and then slow down as they get older, but some babies are slow to gain in general.

My DS seems to gain about a pound per month. He was 9ish lbs when he came home, 10 lbs a few weeks later, 12 lbs at his 2 month visit and almost 14 at his visit a few days ago (3.5 months old).

DS was 8lbs 11oz at birth and came home at 7lbs 8oz - the Drs were concerned and we were told to go to our Ped on Monday (I was discharged on Saturday)

At the first visit he was 7lbs 11oz, I was having supply issues and was told I had to supplement. At his 1 month checkup he was 9lbs 12oz

so he gained 1lb 1 oz from birth or 2lbs 4oz from the time he came home

DS was born at 7lbs 4oz, came home at 6lbs 7oz. At his 4 week apt he was 10lbs! At his 2 month apt he was 12lbs 6oz. It's proportionate thought because he is in the 95% for height and 75% for weight. Like a PP mentioned, DS is BF so they tend to gain quicker in the beginning.

DS was born at 8lbs 1oz. I forgot what he was when he left the hospital, but two days later at his Ped appt he was back to 8lbs 1oz.
On Friday he had his next Ped appt & he's now at 11lbs 1oz (4 weeks old).
DS is EBF no formula.

Ok well Benny is a total chubber. He was born at 8lb 6oz & he was over 11lb at one month He kept that type of gain up for the first 3 months & then started to slow down. He is EBF- no formula at all.

When I brought DD home, she lost 9% of her birth weight and was jaundiced. I chose not to supplement with formula and to keep BFing. Ultimately, DD made up the lost weight and gained exactly 2 pounds in a month. She's still averaging an ounce a day in weight gain. Since BFing is new to me, I bought a baby scale at BBB to help me make sure DD is on track with her weight. It's made BFing reassuring to me since I don't know how much milk she's actually taking in.

ds was born 6.6 and came home at 6.4. at his 4 week check up he was 9.1lbs

eta he was predominatly bf the first month, i only gave him 1-2 bottles of formula a day to supplement at night
