How many times a day are those who are still EBF, nursing their babies??

Also, now that we are moving on to table food, and some of her meals include grains-- are you still giving cereal? I guess this mostly applies to dinner, since breakfast is fruit and cereal anyway. Sasha LOOOOOOOOOOVES her cereal-- and she always eats the entire bowl. But, I don't want to carbo-load her and want to give balanced meals.

Including night feedings, Frankie is nursing about 7-8 times a day.

I can't answer the cereal ? since Frankie has always refused baby cereal and pureed food. My doc told us to go straight to table food, so we just started that a few days ago.

Around 7-8 months, DS went down to nursing/bottles 4 times per day. He prefers table food. He gets table food at daycare, but when he's with me, I still try to give him cereal for breakfast. If not, he gets pancakes or waffles and fruit. The only time I offer cereal is for breakfast.

I'm nursing 4 times a day and giving one formula bottle. I'm hoping that the 4:30am nursing gets dropped soon.
For food, I have to figure that one out.... At lunch, I have been giving the meals in a jar. Breakfast is cereal and fruit, although he is still hungry after that, and dinner, I need to figure out table food to feed him.
