Livingroom Pictures! Before and During!
We have been working on our livingroom steadily for just shy of 2 months. We kept the carpet (we are getting a puppy for christmas and figure while it will have accidents- we should probably use the old carpet instead of new right away )
Here is the old livingroom (the MLS picture) - it was ALL panelling - when we ripped it all down, they never closed the walls from the ceiling - there were huge gaps..
Here is what the during looked like ...
Here is the fireplace primed
The walls - we ripped down the panelling and luckily enough the sheetrock was OK - we had professionals come in to tape and spackle
Here is the livingroom wall color - Its Eddie Bauer Bungalow Collection in Oatmeal
Here is the Accent Wall color (it extends into the hallway) - Its Eddie Bauer Bungalow Collection in Almond Oil)
(we are putting a corner molding - I cant get a straight line)
We put our livingroom furniture back in!

Here is the fireplace painted from the Eddie Bauer Collection - Craft White - The TV is new for Hubby's Birthday and we picked up the TV console from Bobs - "Somerdale"
Here is the other side of the livingroom - we picked up the armoire off Craigslist and found fabric to match the color exactly (may be a little off in the pictures) from JoAnn's Fabrics - Brought them to the dry cleaner and had them make us curtains for all under $35
Here is the curtain rod from Marburn Curtain ($37 - I splurged.. but I love it!)
Here is the color contrast - the red, oatmeal and craft white
We still have to put up moldings (the week after Thanksgiving - all to be painted Craft White) - we have our mantle to be put back in place, as well as decorative items to be added (suggestions welcomed! ) - and we currently have curtains for the back door at the cleaners being made - I should have more pictures to add after next week with the new curtains!
Hope you liked them!

Very nice work! I love the red, oatmeal, and white together - it's very classy but very "homey" at the same time.

Looks great, love the wall color and the white fireplace!
But, is that great little window being covered by the TV? Is there another spot you can put the TV?

Thanks - the little window is a nautical type - it goes out to our sunroom in which the blinds are closed - from that angle it seems blocked, but once your on that side of the room - we moved the TV to one side of the console so it is all clear

Re: Livingroom Pictures! Before and During!
I love the color you chose for the walls! How is the coverage with that paint? The fireplace looks nice and bright as well. Great Job!
