Curious...
Say if you are house hunting and you fell inlove with a house and you bid on it and it wasnt accepted, then a few days or weeks go by and an LIF member posts that they have an accepted offer/closed on the same house you liked...has that ever happened to anyone?
Hasnt to me, but I lost a few bids and I check to see if anyone here got the house instead, i know I'm weird lol.

We bid on our house and found out that another LIF member looked at it but never put a bid on it. I am sure it happens all the time

We had an accepted offer on a house, decided to not to get it after the inspection and someone else on here bought the house.

yes, it happens! when i was selling, someone on here said they looked at it.
now that i am in contract, someone on here (davaday) said they looked at it too and were scared off by the dolls that the homeowner had...
i am certain it happens here all the time. in fact, i was a little leery of putting the house on here afraid that someone would "steal" it from me.
