Long Down coat
Anyone have any recommendations for a long down coat like the North Face Metropolis or the Triple C but maybe not as expensive?

Try LandsEnd...you can shop online or check out some of their stuff at Sears...if you order from the catalog at Sears it ships to your house for free.

NYPD-Wife - I was looking at the Michael Kors one. Did you get one of those for 80 bucks!?!?

No problem.. it is a little puffy (It's extremely warm.. the rating goes to like.. -20) and I will say you MUST be tall to get that coat.. otherwise it just looks weird.
I really like the Michael Kors one too.. that seems awesome for $80

I tried on the Michael Kors one and scanned for the price it said $79.99...there was a huge sale on coats last week like 40% off...not sure if its still on sale.

I bought this coat two years ago. It's by London Fog and is $149 on Overstock. I work in NYC and have to have a really long coat. I'm 5'7" and this comes down to my ankles.
ETA: You can't tell from this pic, but it is fitted in the back so there is a nice shape to it. Image Attachment(s):
