Peeling skin......
Has anybody's DC had this? Poor DD had skin peeling on her hands; it seems to be getting better but now it is more on her feet and ankles.
Anything I can do? I have just been leaving it to heal on its own (as I am always hesitant to put any product on her) as I am going to call the ped tomorrow.

Re: Peeling skin......
It's perfectly normal...
If you spent 9 months in water you'd be peeling too...
Ive always just left it alone and it eventually goes away....

Yep, normal. As my ped says, baby is "molting"
I just leave it be.

Re: Peeling skin......
DD had this too on her hands and on her ankles. Her hands weren't that bad, so I left it alone or put some dry skin ointment (butt paste brand). Ped gave us an ointment for her ankle though because it was pretty inflamed. As long as it's not puffy and red I wouldn't worry about it. I didn't try it, but I know aquaphor is very good as well.

DD had this as well. I would just put a little vaseline on at night. It eventually went away.

Re: Peeling skin......
DS has it right now. The Dr. said to use aquafor on it. He also had a rash on his belly and the aquafor worked great ont hat too. Cleared it up in 2 days. I rub the cream on him and massage him at the same time, he seems to really like it.

Re: Peeling skin......
OH boy DD was a peeling MESS for the 1st 2 weeks...it was so gross.
I bathed her in Aquaphor's new baby wash (LOVE IT) and then used a Mustela cream that the nurse in my ped's office recommended.
Her skin is SOOOOO super soft and peeling free now (she's 3 weeks)
