Let's talk shower head, detachable shower head, etc...

How is you set up in your shower, shower tub?

Can you post pics too?

I MUST have a detachable shower because of DS and I am beyond annoyed using a rinse cup to rinse him from a bath. He hates the shower head. It's too high for him and the water splashes in his face/eyes.

Should I get a fixed one AND a detachable one on the side?

DH HATES those large shower heads.

We are looking for one in a bronze finish.

TIA

Check out my album with our bathroom renovations. The showers are Delta fixtures. We have a fixed head, and added a diverter that shifts the water to the hand-held. That can be removed from the holder. You can get a fixed holder or the movable one you see in my pics. That fitting slides up and down the bar so you could make a shorter shower out of it, or lift it off as a hand held.

We have this one from Home Depot, I could NEVER live without a handheld shower head. It is so much easier with the kids.

Is the diverter the fixture in the middle of the wall? Does you detachable shower head hose connects to that diverter?

We were looking at someting similar but the diverter would be on the fixed shower head.

I think they do have a diverter that fits on the shower head. We did a full renovation so we went with the wall diverter and piping to the side rather than attached to the shower head.

I have 2 full baths and I won't even use the one that doesn't have the detachable...its soooooooooo much easier! Even cleaning the shower is easier with the detachable.

The one I have has the diverter on the fixed head...I wish there was an easier way, I kinda hate where it is.

My mothers has the diverter set up on the main handle thing where you turn the water on...left comes out the detachable...right comes out the fixed head...I like this way MUCH better than mine.

Here's our set-up, we have a rain head and a detachable shower head (which I could not live without).
