hey girls. i usually wear MAC makeup but I hate how heavy it feels on my skin. My mom wears Lancome and it feels great because its so light ; feels like water . but it doesnt last . i need coverage that lasts all day and covers everything.. any sugestions for a great foundation like this?

no one?
I honestly don't know if such a thing exists!
You could try Revlon Color Stay--peopel on here like it, but I didn't think it covered enough for me. I am still on the hunt for the perfect foundation. I loved Maybelline Mineral Wear, but it didn't last.
I used to like Estee Lauder--I forget why I stopped wearing it.

Re: makeup ?
I started buying Smashbox last year and like it a lot. If you buy makeup at sephora, they will generally take anything back. If you try it, and don't like it, return it and try a new one!

Re: makeup ?
I would suggest trying Laura Mercier. She has the best foundation!
As a PP said, def go to Sephora...you can return anything with a receipt if you do not like it.

Re: makeup ?
I agree with the recs. to go to Sephora.
I use Make Up For Ever foundation in Matte Velvet...... I love it! I don't know if it will last long enough for you, but it lasts most of the day and is so light, not at all cakey. I love it and on my second container! (it's a liquid foundation, btw)

Re: makeup ?
have you tried Bare Minerals? I too need a lot of coverage and I find that it covers pretty well without having that heavy feeling or the caked on look.

Re: makeup ?
I love Revlon's Colorstay, both the Softflex (for more coverage) and the Active (much lighter coverage). I also love their New Complexion liquid foundation, but it has since been reforumlated so it's not out in stores yet. (I don't like the Colorstay mineral products.)
I also like most of MUFE's liquid foundations & powders.
If I'm going to an event and I know I'm going to be photographed throughout the event or hours later OR be in hot/humid conditions...I wear Colorstay (with MUFE loose Matte Powder).
ETA: I keep reading great things about Armani's Silk foundations. They might be worth checking out. If they were sold at Sephora, I would have tried them by now. I just have to get my butt to a department store that carries the line.

I also like Make Up For Ever. I was looking for something that would at least last through mid after-noon & so far this is holding its end.

Re: makeup ?
I've been using bare minerals for a long time and I really love it.
The foundation covers pretty much everything but I use the bisque for days where my eyes look dark or for when I have a breakout and it covers it really nicely.
I've been dying to try some MUFE stuff..

Re: makeup ?
If you want to try Lancome, I think that some of their collections are a bit heavier. I use one of their foundations that is light but there they have different lines.
