Re: Kitchen cabinets
We are pricing cabinets and so far we have been to Consumers and Ikea. Ikea is definitely cheaper but I felt like the cabinets might not stand up over time.
Consumers was very reasonable price wise. i priced the exact same cabinets at Home Depot and it was almost double the price at HD

Re: Kitchen cabinets
You can do a search on here for IKEA cabients and lots of people on here have used IKEA cabinets and love them. I believe they have a higher end and a lower end of cabinets. Worth checking out for the cheaper prices.

Re: Kitchen cabinets
Please check out my dad- Dynamic Kitchens- he's a vendor here- listed to the right under new vendors..
He does completely custom work- better quality that Consumers, HD, Lowes, etc.. BUT same if not better price and free installation!

Re: Kitchen cabinets
We've been back and forth to Consumers and HD a million times over the past few months and I still can't make up my mind!
I was leaning more towards consumers because I fell in love with cabinets there, but then I read a few reviews about it taking long for the cabinets to come in and now i'm confused on what to do again..I'd really love to have everything done by Christmas
I wish Weisman Salvage still exsisted, my brother got great cabinets there for a great price..

Re: Kitchen cabinets
We used Consumers (Commack) for our Kraftmaid cabinets. Our cabinets came in early and we had them store them in their warehouse until we were ready for them. Our cabinets actually started getting installed yesterday. We were/are very happy with the layout and the kitchen that was designed.
