Lia Sophia vent

I had a Lia Sophia party and am annoyed at the fact that they charge everybody shipping fees, but it all comes to me.

I don't care about distributing it myself, but why the shipping fees? It's a flat rate of I think 3.80 per person regardless of how much they buy or how many people are buying.

Basically if they sell to 20 people at 1 party they charge $76.00 to ship everything to one place! This is not heavy/bulky stuff either.

Whatever - first and last time for me, but I had to vent.

Same thing happened to me with Arbonne! The lady said she was doing everybody a favor by only charging each person $4 for shipping. The minimum charge to ship an order listed on their order forms is $7.95, but with that it goes directly to their homes. I had 5 people at my party so the total she collected for shipping was $20; total sales were $500. The charge (per their order form) to ship a $500 order is $12.95; and I know she put the whole order together -- that is how it all came to me; plus she told me so. So she pocketed the extra $7 she STOLE from my friends and family. PLUS, now I have to go deliver the stuff to my friends and family who live in Nassau and Queens! I'm so POd that I really want to call Arbonne, but am afraid they'll want to charge my guests the extra $3.95.

I never understood that either.
I got into a fight with them when they tried to charge me sales tax on my free items. The person who did the party wound up paying it out of her pocket b/c I was so outraged by the whole thing.
