parson's chairs
we're buying the PotteryBarn Montego dining room table in espresso, and probably the PB Aaron chairs in matching color
table
aaron chairs
We were considering getting two parsons chairs to go at either end of the table to give it a little different look.
Anyone have any suggestions on where to look?
We'd like to find a place where we can get custom fabric on the chairs, and then have curtains made from the same fabric.
The room has one dark orange wall, with 3 cream colored walls, chestnut laminate wood floors, and a rug with orange/brown/cream/sage in it. with the table in the dark brown color, i'm thinking the chairs and curtains would be in the sage green family.
suggestions?
i'd love to post pictures of the room so far but i really do stink at posting stuff here

Re: parson's chairs
Ballard Designs have them and they are sale pretty frequently. You can pick their fabrics, or send in your own. You can also get them done at fabric stores like The Fabric Mill and Calico Corners.

you mean i'd buy plain parsons somewhere and Fabric Mill would cover them? or they sell chairs there too? I've never been, but this might be a good excuse to go there

Yes, you could buy plain ones and they could cover them. They do sell some furniture so I would either stop by or call to ask if you would get everything through them. I used them for my LR window treatments, got 2 wood framed chair upholstered and some toss pillows made. Just a warning, I thought their customer service s ucked, but the price and quality were awesome.

Check Pier 1. I was on their site recently and they had some nice ones, some on sale.

I always see parsons chairs in Home Goods, you can also try JC Pennys.
