BF moms... How old did you set up the high chair?

Ds is 4 months and we're thinking of doing it soon. We're planning on starting solids at 6 months but he sits in his bouncy seat at the table when we eat since he's born. Since he's so much more interactive we think he may be better at our table height. And he loves sitting on my lap and grabbing for things on the desk or table.

Is it too soon or should we try it? I believe the high chair we have (Graco Blossom) can recline but DS can sit up with support. I do not recall if it had an age on the box. The website does not say.

Definitely put him in there now. I put DDs in the highchair to eat at 4 mos. because that's when we started solids, but I do believe they sat at the table in the highchair (as opposed to the bouncy) a bit before that even.

I set up the highchair at 4 1/2 months (when we started solids) I regret not doing it earlier because she loves being in there. It was nice to have another place to put her especially when I wanted to so stuff in the kitchen or cook.

We put DD in the high chair at 4.5 months. She was already able to sit up unassisted. She loved sitting with us during dinner and watching us eat.

Never since we don't have a high chair.

We used the Bumbo for rice cereal at 6 months.

And when he was good at sitting up himself we used the Fisher Price booster seat. And to this day (he is 16 months) we are still using it.
