Damaged appliance (cosmetic) found at final walk-thru
Ok- so technically, we haven't had our walk thru yet- it's tomorrow morning (closing tomorrow afternoon). But, we heard the sellers moved out so we drove by the house yesterday and DH looked through the back door into the kitchen.
He says he saw a huge dent on the front of the SS dishwasher- that wasn't there when we made our offer.
What are our rights here- do the sellers have to repair/replace it even if the dishwasher still works?
We haven't mentioned it to the realtor yet because we weren't technically supposed to be there.

definitely make a note of it at the walk through... you could try to get some money for it at the closing.. Oh, and make sure to tell your LAWYER. Your RE agent may not be as 'on your side' at this point. Good luck!

I agree..........take notes at the walk through and tell your lawyer..... They should offer a credit....

yes, absolutely tell your attorney (After the walk-through tomorrow). it can be dealt with at closing.
