Bathroom Renovation...Permit?
If we're gutting our bathroom in a few months but not changing the location of any pipes, etc. just replacing walls, retiling, installing new shower, toilet and sink...do we need to apply for a permit?
We've only done refinishing, detailing and painting around our house so I'm not sure how that works. I know very extensive work like dormers etc require permits...but a bathroom renovation? Some people are telling us we'll need permits, others are saying we won't.
TIA!

Re: Bathroom Renovation...Permit?
if original plumbing and sewer remains the same then no. you are merely just replacing all existing walls and fixtures. HTH.
