How do i cover this up nicely?

I have this "out of place" bookcase in my DD's nursery that can't go anywhere else. It has all my dental school books and has all the books in the house. I know it's unorganized--don't mind the mess of it.

What is a good way to cover this up that would look nice with her nursery?

Here is a picture of the nursery as well so show you/

I would buy a new book case that has doors on it.

You can get a tension rod anywhere that sells curtains. I've gotten then in Target and Walmart before.

Panels you can get anywhere that sells curtains.

Bed Bath and Beyond has them too, in the bathroom section.

You could also velco material to the top front of the bookcase. Finish the edges off on all 4 sides. This way the material could match the room. And you could also paint it white. GL! Very cute room.Chat Icon

1st thing is to make sure it's attached to a wall stud so it can't fall over.

After that, I would probably go with the curtain method mentioned. Either velcro, or the curtain rod method. You could get fancy ones even, to coordinate with the room.

This is adorable!! I love it but it only comes in green, pink and blue, none of which will go with her nursery Chat Icon

That is an excellent and creative idea, is there velcro that wouldn't ruin the bookcase when i remove it a few years down the road??

Re: How do i cover this up nicely?

I have something similar. I actually laid it down on its side, long ways instead of tall like that. Its not meant to lay sideways but it works better for my space. Then I painted it to match the room and everything is in baskets. Two baskets on top of each other in each slot.
