2 raves

First off My mortgage people have been amazing and everything has moved so fast! We are using continental, we got a great rate and there are no problems like others are running into with these big banks

We should be closing this week or next week so I'll let u know if I still feel the same way after closing lol

If anyone wants my guy I have been using FM me, he is great!!

Second if anyone is looking for homeowners insurance I have a great agent who gave me a few awesome quotes and was so helpful in explaining everything to us since we are clueless

FM if you want either names!!!

Re: 2 raves

That's so awesome! I hope it goes smoothly for me!

How long did it take from the time you signed your contracts to go to closing?

Re: 2 raves

Im getting a VA loan so it takes a little longer but this has been my time line so far...Just waiting on a closing now they said it will be before the end of the month

we made an offer in the middle of Aug(don't remember the exact date)
inspection-8/20/09
signed contracts-8/27/09
seller signed-9/2/09
appraisal came back on-9/28/09
Mortgage commitment-10/9/09
Termite inspection(need this for VA)-10/16/09

good luck with everything

Re: 2 raves

Jessie, good luck with the closing, I hope everything goes smoothly.

I think from the time of our offer to closing date it was 2 1/2 months, but Wells fargo wasted 2 wks of our time.
