Coffee table for sectional?
For those of you that have sectionals, what type of coffee table do you have?
I bought this Lane sectional from Bobs:
Ours is a mirror image with two recliners and an extra armless seat next to the recliners.
It's our family room so I need to have a table but I am stumped for ideas.

I have a similar section- my chaise is on the left and I have room for a large square coffee table in the middle
also all from bobs
we have a rug under the table now- this was take about 3 days after we moved in

Looks great Beth.
Does it feel crowded? Can you walk around it?
Between the chaise on one side and the recliners on the other, there isn't much room, but the piece is huge so I need a substantial table.

Re: Coffee table for sectional?
thanks
you can walk around it- I have it pushed far away enough
I had about 30 people over and 8 to 10 sitting on the couch with out an issue
it looks much better with the rug and curtains!
I want to get the matching end table- I have one I got at home goods and I plan on moving that to the guest room

Re: Coffee table for sectional?
This is before we got the rest of our decor and entertainment center:
Those are two coffee tables from JCPenney. We figured if two were too much, we could move or remove one. They weren't that expensive.
Honestly though, with the dog, they're too much now for that little space. Your sectional looks bigger, and your room probably is too, so you might not have the issue I do.

Re: Coffee table for sectional?
We did not get a coffee table to put with out sectional bc I thought it would be too crowded. We like the more open space. (Plus we do not eat or drink on our couch so there is no need for a table to hold anything).

I'm thinking about this one. It is a lift top.

Re: Coffee table for sectional?
We went with a round table because we couldn't find another table that wouldn't be too big. Our couch (in the center where our feet go) is 5' wide next to the chaise part. We have the round table that measures 3'4" and it leaves a nice space to get around.
I will try and add a pic later.

We have one of those big leather ottoman coffe tables. Like this one but, our couch is not leather... Image Attachment(s):
