He sure is. No honeymooners re-make will ever be as good as the original...It can't be touched. Noone can take the place of Jackie Gleason and Art Carney....
DH and I have the whole 38 or 39 episodes on tape. I bought the collection for him 2 years ago. Jackie Gleason went to the same highschool that DH teaches at. But I think he only went for like a year or something...

we didn't have a DVD player at the time...so that's why I got it on tape...it's ok cuz we still have our VCR even though we got a DVD player.

DH will not even go see it, me neither.. It's an insult to the original. To the producers I say this: YOU CANNOT REMAKE A ONE OF A KIND CLASSIC!!!
In addition to Jackie Gleason, I say that Art Carney, Audrey Meadows and Joyce Randolph are all turning in their graves right now...
Joyce Randolph did pass away too? wasn't she the last one to pass away?

I love the eposide when Ralph was suppose to play golf with his boss and he knew nothing about golf. Norton was reading the book and it said that you had to address the ball and he said "Hello ball".
