A little brag
My girlfriend asked me to go to Tanger outlets tommorow to go shopping, and I declined because I really only like to use cash when I shop, and as much as I would love to take money out of my savings, I just cant do it.
So, DH comes home, and says, "What are you doing tommorow?". He works Saturdays. I said, probably just cleaning and errands. He then says, "What about shopping with Gineen". I said, Babe, even though we have the money, I cant justify spending our savings on clothes, at a time where your business is just taking off, and we may need extra cash.
Well, he just handed me an envelope with $1000.00 in it, and said, "Here, go shopping, but just make sure I get new sneakers"
I love this man.

You are one lucky lady!! Have fun. I'm gonna tell my DH about this and see if he lets it soak in. My birthday is only about a month away!

Thanks everyone.
We were in the middle of purchasing a business, and we hardly had any money because we put every penny made from the wedding, and beyond, into the down payment. So for a while, we were living paycheck to paycheck, making ends meet. But now that we own the business, things have done a complete 180, and we are back in "business" as far as our finances go.
Material things dont mean much to me, I swear. But it has been months (since the wedding) since I have been able to buy stuff for myself that wasnt a necessity. So, I am going to treat myself, and buy some new clothes, shoes, whatever I want.
