Spinoff..for those with aversion to meat, esp. chicken..
What do you eat for lunch and dinner??
DH and I always plan our meals around chicken, ground turkey, or pork.
NOW...the thought of any of that makes me SO sick. I just don't know what to shop for at the supermarket.
The past few nights I have had... - chicken rice soup from chinese (that was fine with me) - I made chili last night...that was alright but couldnt stomach too much ground turkey in it.
tonight we are having mac and cheese b/c I had no clue what else my tummy would handle. I also bought some soups. But It has been a little while since we have cooked REAL food!
Any ideas??

Re: Spinoff..for those with aversion to meat, esp. chicken..
I'm 24 weeks, and am only now just getting back into chicken.
Some of the things I ate over the last 4-5 months were...tacos, grilled steak, hamburgers, sausage, different types of seafood, pasta (baked ziti, lasagna, w/meatballs, etc.), meatloaf, stuffed peppers, salads, quiche, breakfast foods, etc. Most lunches consisted of leftovers.
Eating out was always a challenge because I got tired of eating burgers really quick, and nothing else would appeal to me. I just started to experiment with some chicken again slowly...probably because I'm just so tired of everything else.

The little food I could eat the first three months was all carbs. I basically lived on pizza at night. DH would go pick me up a slice for dinner and I would pick it apart.

With DD#1 I couldn't go near ANY meat or chicken without getting sick. I lived on quesadillas with avocado or veggies, nachos, salads, sometimes pasta if it agreed with me.

I had a horrible chicken aversion. I ate mostly salads, pastas, pizza and bread.
