hardwood floors and scratches - question

We had our hardwood floors done about 5 years ago. Unfortunately - we now have tons of scratches from the kids dragging their toys on it, throwing their toys on the floor etc..... Ive recently moved all their toys to the basement so we don't spend much time upstairs anymore.

What can i do about all those scratches? Is there a way to repair them - does the floor get restained, waxed?

TIA

I don't know how bad and how many the scratches you are talking about, but my parents use a WALNUT to get out all their scratches. Literally a walnut (not the shell). They just rub it over the scratch and it disappears. It's amazing! Chat Icon

Wow, that makes sense since a walnut is very waxy.

Great idea......!

Not sure how scratched your wood floors are but we use wood polish by guardsman - we got it at BBB
