Went to Cornell Cooperative Extension(Farm) in Yaphank today
It was my 1st time there. I took 2 little boys (age 3& 5) today and they had such a good time. It's a working farm that is open to the public for free! The grounds and animals are very clean. If you get a chance you should check it out. The older boy had a good time feeding the cows.
You can also get free animal feed for the goats and sheep, although neither of them wanted to feed them. So I did.
Just wanted to share a few pictures incase anyone is interested.

No problem...hope some others get out there to enjoy it. I plan to go back.
My DD actually told me about it. She had to go here as part of her classes when she was taking the Vet Tech class at Suffolk.

That place is great. I interned there in college in their PR dept, which is located in Riverhead.

I agree that it is a great place to go.
We love it there. In the spring they have a baby farm animal festival and it's also free and a lot of fun.
They have the goats pigs and fowl all well taken care of and it's all situated nicely to see the animals.
