Kings Park ladies!! recommend your hairdresser
i just need a trim, but i have curly hair and i am growing out the layers. i need someone i can REALLY trust to listen to me b/c my last two haircuts were horrific.
any recommendations? i can't travel too far but i'll go to Commack, Hauppague or Smithtown.

I've been going to Kris S. at Cactus in Mayfair (commack) for years. She always listens & she's amazing!

I use Lindsay @ cactus in mayfair (commack) - the shopping center with MJM shoes and waldbaums.
I've had my hair cut but several people there and I've always been happy.

Lauren at Cactus in Northport. I used to live there but now drive 35 mins just to see her.....she has never given me a bad cut or color and worked some miracles on my wedding day.

just wanted to add that i avoid T Carlton Spaaaalon  like the plague. 
Lauren M is great - i went to HS with her - but i really can't justify the salon's pricing and attitude
