Which bookshelf?
I am in the process of setting up my son's big boy room. This is the bed and the dresser that he will have and I have a corner spot in his room that I would liek to utilize by putting a bookshelf in there. There are two that I like, they are pretty much the same size.
Number 1 is from IKEA and costs about half of what number 2 costs, the only downside is that we'll have to put it together.
Number 2 is from Land of Nod and comes assembled but double the price of the first one.
I think both colors will match but I was wondering which one YOU would pick. Thanks! Image Attachment(s):

Ikea all the way. I wouldn't pay twice as much just for assembly.

I agree. I got my book cases from Ikea for $19! They were actually pretty easy to put together and two years later they are still standing! HTH!

Re: Which bookshelf?
But what about color-wise? Do you think the IKEA one matches well with the bed and the dresses set?

Re: Which bookshelf?
I think the more expensive one matches a little better but I don't think the Ikea one doesn't match if that makes any sense.

Re: Which bookshelf?
I would buy the IKEA one. It's for a childs room and things get damaged over the years, so for me, I wouldn't want to spend the extra money. I think the IKEA one matches well.

Re: Which bookshelf?
I actually like the look of the Ikea one better. The feet on the bookshelf are more substantial.
I agree with PP, for a child's room, go with Ikea. If you end up tossing it in a few years, who cares.

Re: Which bookshelf?
I'm actually surprised the first one is from Ikea and not the second one. I like it much better than the bottom one. Just don't forget to strap it to the wall somehow... my nephew climbed up his!
