Verizon fios...how much for DVR
I am thinking of making the switch from cablevision to Fios. How much is the DVR service and does that include the multi-room option? I don't have any HD TV's, so I don't care about that right now (maybe someday I will get a new TV). I want to be able to watch DVR from a different TV. Thanks.

Well unfortunately since we don't live in the DVR world, I don't know how much Verizon costs to add it!  
But I'm thinking you know of someone that you should definitely take a TV away from so that you can have a new one!

 I had to make a post, becuase the only person I know who's recently made the switch to Fios, doesn't have DVR

i'll have to double check when i get home... but i think we pay like $150 a month for Fios-- we have the phone, internet, and 2 HD DVR boxes....

I think it is $20 extra per month for a Home Media DVR.
When we signed up we got this option free for 1 year as a promotion. It is an HD/Home media DVR box, we record and manage shows from this box and can watch the DVR shows on any of the 3 TVs in the house (the other 2 are non HD)
We were told at the time that when 1 year was up it would be $20 a month for the DVR box.

It depends on who you talk to at FIOS... I got it for free for one year and when my contract was up they offered it to me for free for anther year...
