Best concert you have ever been to?
What was your favourite show?
We saw Our Lady Peace in NYC ( I forget where) a few months ago and it was phenonemal. You could tell the band thought it was there best show. Raine climbed up to the balcony and used his cell to video the crowd.
What was yours and where?

Billy Joel.
I've seen him 6x. But the best show of his, and the best show that I've ever seen was in January 1998, I was 17 years old and it was the opening night of his world tour that would go on to last almost 2 years. I saw him again the following December (same tour) and it was great too.
Bruce Springsteen in 2003 was a close second, at Shea Stadium, the place was literally shaking!

Peter Gabriel at Jones Beach. He's my fave and he puts on an awesome show.
I'd have to say Justin Timberlake's show is a 2nd fave...i love to watch him move.

Dave Matthews Band this past summer at Jones Beach. It was the 2nd night they were there and they played a lot of their older stuff. It was amazing!

That's a tough one, it is tie between Rascal Flatts at MSG in January of 08 and U2 at MSG in October of 2001.

I've seen LOTS of great concerts, but I have to say by far the BEST show I ever saw was Elton John's 60th Bday concert at MSG. The energy in MSG that night was beyond explainable.

Billy Joel and Elton John Face 2 Face tour this past summer at Gillette Stadium.
That concert just blew me away!
ETA: Tim McGraw concert at Comcast Center in Mansfield Massachusetts was a close second!

same here...
also, 2 of his 9 sold-out ones at the Garden a few years back were awesome.
DMB at Soldier's Field in Chicago in 2000 was also awesome.

I would have to agree with others...
U2 - Vertigo definitely came to mind 1st
But I'd really have to think about it. I seriously have seen too many to pick just one...

I'll never forget my first concert, Madonna's Blonde Ambition tour.
I was front row for Billy Joel & Elton John's first Face to Face tour at the Meadowlands, which was awesome.
The Billy Joel Millenium concert was another one of my faves.

I saw him there that year. It at the end of the summer/early fall and it was FREEZING!

Garth Brooks in Central Park - it also helped that I was front stage (I was on HBO and can be seen in the Live CD. )
Josh Groban at Jones Beach. It was a beautiful night for his voice. The temperature, the breeze, the view...everything!
Bryan Adams at Jones Beach - again, front row so that made a difference.
and my girl Sarah Brightman - I had chills for the whole show.
