tmi - c-section and sex
How long did you wait until after you had your c-section to have sex? Is it actual sex that's the problem or any physical contact?

I waited 4 weeks
I can't really answer the 2nd question but I will be honest it took 4 weeks before I even thought about physical contact again!

I listened to my OB - who didn't give us the green light until 6 weeks - and I then had to wait for all PP bleeding to stop.

We waited the 6 weeks. I think you are supposed to avoid anything going in. Your cervix is supposed to be closed completely before you have sex and even though it probably happens way before 6 weeks, you won't know that until you dr checks it, usually at the 6 week appt.

4 weeks, it was really painful for me until then.
ETA: OB said at the 4 week appointment that ot was ok.

my ob didnt give the green light till 6 weeks. and even then i was bleeding ALOT for 10 weeks then went to light for a week.. and its just stopping now at 12 weeks

4 weeks. It was a long time before that that we had sex, so as soon as I was good, it was on.

Got the green light from OB at 6 weeks......still wanted no part of it. I think I waited till 8 weeks maybe??

I think i waited about 8 weeks or so. My doc gave me the green light at 6 weeks, but DH just wasn't comfortable doing anything until I was back on BCP.

Same here...SO weird!!!
We waited about 4 weeks. I thought since I had a c-section that I could get away with the discomfort. Oh well

5 weeks and luckily had no problems at all. I was scared at first but for me, it was nothing to worry about thankfully.
