c-section scar
I'm 4 months pp and my scar is still red and raised. It gets so itchy at night, it drives me nuts and the skin around it is still sensitive to touch.
When does your scar completely heal? Does this itching ever go away?

mines the same way at 3 months pp. i think it takes at least 6 months to heal if not longer. My OB said that "numb" feeling may never go away some people it will some it wont. and to give it at least 6 months

I'm only 16 days PP and I can't wait for the numbness to go away! It freaks me out to touch that area

 I'm almost 1 YEAR pp and its still itchy at times! Still have that numb/weird feeling. Especially when I wear jeans, it's super annoying. But its not red anymore. Started to turn pink around 6 months, mostly 'white' now.

with my first I was very uncomfortable for a while. for some reason - the second time I have no pain or itching and I'm 9 weeks PP, haven't had pain in a while now, it is numb but I've heard sometimes that just doesn't go away - in fact DH had a hernia surgery as a teenager and at 37 he still has some numbness. I was very surprised my pain went away so fast the second time since the first time I had pain for about 4 months.

9 months PP, numb and itchy at times. Its pinkish looking, and some of it is raised.

7 mpp and still a little numb right above scar...also puffy above scar where the inside was cut.
numbness is getting better though

It took almost two years for me to have feeling back completely in that area. Now, at three years pp, it's completely normal.

Over 2 years here and my scar is raised (it keloided) and it still itches AND there is still numbness 
I'm having a repeat c/s in a short time and they are doing a "scar revision" for me.
It takes time ladies...be patient. I'm not sure all the numbness will completely go away. It's different for everyone.
You can use products like Bio-Oil and Mederma to help the scar. But you have to be consistent with it.

Mine 8 months PP is just about gone. I went for accupuncture the other day, and the dr was suprised that I had a C-sec. It's hardly noticible. The only time it bothers me, is when DS kicks me when we are rolling around.

I'm 17 months pp, and there are still days where it itches and is sensitive if I put pressure on it.
It is still raised and light pink, though sometimes it turns a darker pink and feels a bit inflamed.

Is anyone else's c-section rasied/puffy right above the incission? Like right above the scar?
My Dr told me it would go away after 3 mths, but it is still puffy...from the side it looks like a lip over the scar.
