Lindenhurst Peeps
Silly question, but....
does anyone know the name of the plant/flower on the property of the house on Wellwood a couple blocks north of the RR, west side?
It is a very tall plant and it is in bloom right now. Very unique looking.
I want to stop and ring their doorbell but don't want to look/sound like a loon.

it must be the house next door to the black forest baker's house (they always have nice flowers) when i pass by again I will take a look and find out for you.

ETA- I think DH's friends parents are their neighbors...I'll have to see if he can get the info

Heading south on Wellwood from Sunrise... it is a block or two(maybe more don't quote me) south of the funeral parlor.

ring their door bell and ask them. my parents had numerous people ring their door bell asking for where they got our roof tiles from. My mom has rung peoples door bells asking about stuff on the outside of their house too.

is it like a tree? flowering small tree? that is thing i can think of. I didn't have my phone on me when i passed and saw it but i had no way of getting a picture i will try again tonight.

yes, it is quite tall for a plant. I don't think it is a tree since I don't recall it being there over the summer. I think it grows every year.
