cost to paint BR and reco's?
After living for over a year with the colors we painted our BR when we bought the house .. i think we want to change them (ok, its me, DH doesn't care as much)
DH and I have painted so much in the rest of the house that i can't face the idea of painting another room (this one has an alcove and partially slanted ceiling, and lots of trimwork so it takes a long time to get done)
I'd like to look into having someone paint it for me - does anyone know how much (approx) that costs?
And any recommendations for south nassau area?
thanks!

Re: cost to paint BR and reco's?
I'm going through this right now....we plan on painting the whole house next year, but I can't live with the paint color in the bedroom anymore so just this week I've gotten quotes to paint the bedroom only. They seem to be in the $600-$700 range for the one room.

Re: cost to paint BR and reco's?
I have a great painter that painted every room in our home but two. He's located in Nassau and is very reasonably priced. We averaged btwn 5 and 6 per room last year depending on room size.
FM me if you're still looking and would like his contact info.

Based on the prices mentioned above, maybe I'll leave my job and become a painter!

Sure, thanks! I don't think we'd be able to pay $700 to get the room painted, that seems really high to me. I was thinking if it was more like $300 i might suck it up. but any more than that and i can't justify it. bleh.. not looking forward to it!
