omg...why are jeans SO long?!
OK, I am just under 5'5" and I've never had this problem before. I tried on about 6 pairs of jeans at Gap and probably 10 pairs at ATL. I also went to American Eagle and their's fit nice but the low rise was just too low for this mommy who is constantly running and bending down with a toddler! Where can I find nice , normal length not super low rise jeans for around $50??????

Welcome to my life! I'm 4'11 and everything needs to be hemmed. I've found Page Denim to be the best for shorter lengths. A bit pricy but worth it. Do you know your inseam length? You could try shopping online as well...

I have the same problem. I've been wearing American Eagle or Aeropostale jeans in Short length with my flats and sneakers.

I have the same problem, and I am the same height as you. Regular length is too long and short/petite is too short. Its very annoying.

i don't have the $$ to spend on expensive jeans but believe it or not, Target's Mossimo jeans are really good! they are the perfect length for me.
i have also gone to the kenneth cole outlet stores, those jeans fit me awesome as well, and they are the perfect length for heels

i have the opposite problem..everything is too short.
NY & CO has jeans in petite average and tall lengths...that may be a good start.
victoria's secret also has varying lengths and different rises. i love their jeans.

I was shocked but I went there recently and bought two pairs of jeans, in short for $60!
(had a coupon)
Aeropostale also carries short and has low rise. Very inexpensive too.
I have to say I own quite a few from there.

In the past they were always shorter but that left out us tall people.
You can always have pants shortened, but you can't have them lengthened.

I have a pair of skinny joes jeans that fit me perfect at 5'2
otherwise everything gets hemmed- unless I can find 30 inseam- which is what I need for heels...I am short
