Help me decorate my livingroom

I need to do something different with it. We have a very large beigeish/light brown sectional sofa with a chaise on one end. The walls are a cream color and I have black accents in the room. I need some new toss pillows, as well as ideas for other colors to add to the room for things like vases and other accents. What colors go with the beige/black theme? I don't want to do red or white. I was thinking brown pillows but I don't know if they would blend in too much. I like purples and sage green type colors, but I don't know if they'd go. I need help!

i would do a blue/gray paint on the walls. i wouldnt do brown pillows--maybe creams and blues?

you could also very well do sage green too!

i think the sage green would work well. There is lots of wall art available at marshals/home goods/target with beige, sage & black

I love brown & slate blue together. But I also love Brown and green together. Here are some pics.



Or you could go with Black & White as an accent, like this.





Burnt Orange is also a nice Fall idea.


And you can use Green & Blue together with your beige & black.


I also think you could add yellow to the room.

Thanks for the help everyone, especially with the pictures and website Jen! I don't have a photo here on my work computer. But I think if I add some of the blue and maybe a hint of green here and there it'll work nicely.

too bad you dont want red.. i saw these yesterday in pier 1 and theyre GORGEOUS! i want them!!! but im not buying anything until we close!!!



ETA: Purple would look great! all different shades!
