Is it common NOT to take vitals at a well visit?
I realized our pediatrician's office never does. Does that seem odd?

Ours never has. It is extremely difficult to get blood pressure on a baby, and pulse is not that easy either.

Ours doesn't take a temp unless we're there for a sick visit or they think she feels warm.

Oh, I didn't know you were asking about temps. Temperature is not a vital sign. (thats the EMT in me talking).
I don't see a need to take a temp for a well visit.

Nope, our ped doesn't take any type of vitals for well visits and I never thought twice about it.

OMG I just signed on here to post and ask the same exact Q  this is sooooo weird!! I was just sitting on my couch and all of a sudden I realized that the ped never listened to DD's heart or lungs when we went for a 2yr well visit on Sunday. ( I don't even remember if he checked her ears, I do know he weighed her and measured her and her head, and asked few questions).
I just can't remember if he normally does it or not , bc last time we went to him was for DD's last well visit a year ago.

our ped doesnt do vitals... she does listen to his heart and lungs at every visit....i do not think it is strange because honestly my ped never did until i was in my teens... she has only taken ds's temp when he was sick... to be honest ds gets so hysterical during the visit that i am happy they keep it short... the only thing i wish she did was a pusle because my sister has a rare heart condition and it gets detected through the pulse rate sometimes

They don't take DD's temperature at any visit. They don't check her pulse or blood pressure (but not sure if it is standard to check blood pressure in a toddler?). They do listen to heart and lungs at every visit.
