Accent Wall and TV
I'm thinking of a striped accent wall in our living room. Do you think hanging the flat screen on the wall will either detract from it or be too much going on on that wall?

Which way are the stripes going? What colors are you thinking about?
If you went with subtle colors and they weren't over powering or bold, I think it would be fine for an accent wall with a TV on it. Fine the colors were really bold and in your face, than it would be hard to concentrate on the TV. Hope that made sense.

Re: Accent Wall and TV
If it were just an accent COLOR, I'd say go for it, but for stripes I might lean toward making a different wall the accent wall. The TV will already draw the eye to that wall, and I'm imagining the stripes may be too busy. Unless the stripes were just a very subtle difference in color.

Re: Accent Wall and TV
We have stripes on an accent wall with our TV on it. There are no issues.
It's one color but the stripes are gloss, flat, gloss, flat, etc.

Re: Accent Wall and TV
I'm thinking a light mocha and cream striped - and the stripes would be fairly wide with small stripes in between - I'll have to think more about it.
