diane schuler's husband is on Larry King Live

I don't know what happened that day and since none of us are friends with them or in that car we can't really speak of what happened and what kind of people they were. But what we do know is, the reports show she was drunk and high. The reports do not show damage to the liver, which if she was a closet alcoholic, it would. The reports do not show she had a major stroke. Her husband is without his wife, without his daughter and without his 3 nieces. His family has been ripped apart. And he believes that his wife was not a drinker. He feels this is out of character for her. Other than ONE bar patron, nobody else that knows this family has come forward and said she was a drinker. I think at this point somebody would. To call the husband a POS is pathetic. The man is grieving. Maybe he's not showing it on Larry King Live, but everybody handles everything in their own way. And right now he is trying to defend his wife to the public. You want to talk about his attorney as an arse, fine. You want to bring up how hard this is for the innocent family members of the other 3 people that died, I will agree. But to call a man who is trying to defend his wife's name a POS is just wrong.
I think the reports were right but the man can't seem to come to grips with this. He has every right to try to clear his wife's name and do whatever he can to show that his wife acted out of character. If he were out sleeping around with women or trying to sell his story for money I would agree that he is a POS. But a man who is in denial about his WIFE'S actions killing 7 others, is not a POS.

Everyone has their own viewpoint.
I dont believe for a second that he has never seen his wife drink/drunk.
How do you know that that is how he truly feels/or what he believes, or if he's just saying this for the cameras ? What's he supposed to say "she was a lush,i saw this coming! "...? (Im not saying that's the case)
I just dont buy all this wishy washy talk.

I have to say I agree. People do snap and do awful things.
First thing that came to my mind was suiicie. Second thing that came to my mind was that that tooth abcess was SOOO painful that she took the vodka and the pot to ease the pain and she got wasted.. of course i dont think it's right to do that, but those are the only two explanations that i can come up with. I feel so sorry for those poor babies that died.

Really? This is the second thing you thought?
For me that is so remote that it is one of the last things I would think of.
I'm not weighing in on what could have happened, I'm just saying that this seems like such a remote possibility. What normal person drinks vodka and smokes pot to deal with a tooth ache-especially with children around. And, if she did do that, it doesn't mitigate her culpability in my eyes, it only adds to it.
I buy the TIA thing before a tooth ache.
People seem to be plucking scenarios out of thin air to fit the facts (or, to fit around the facts) as opposed to letting the facts speak for themselves.

Very well said. If someone told me my spouse did that I would have a hard time dealing with it too. We are so quick to judge this man, I cant even imagine the hell he must be going through. I have nothing but compassion and sympathy for him and all of the families involved.

However, if she had pot and alcohol in her car, it does lead us to believe she did use those things and did use them that weekend, so it does make the TIA seem less likely.
I don't even know where to get pot. So how did she get pot being disoriented? She had to have it anyway.
