Walking - past 12 months
If your DC walked after they turned 1 how soon did they start?
DD is 13 months and can stand on her own unassisted and walk with my fingers but has yet to take a step on her own...I am not sure how much longer she will stay in this stage?

Re: Walking - past 12 months
Ryan took a few steps here and there at 12-13 months but then went from that to practically running at 14 months. Just when I thought it would never happen, he was flying all over the place.

Re: Walking - past 12 months
DS would walk holding my hand at 13 months, but he didn't gain the confidence to let go until he turned 16 months. Every once in a while we would catch him taking a few steps here and there, but we could see that he was afraid of falling down. One day he just decided to let go and now he's all over the place!

Re: Walking - past 12 months
DD was a later walker. She walked a few steps and then stumbled/fell (kind of like maggie simpson) from around 15 months until about 17-18 months when she finally started walking more than a few steps by herself.
