sorry, we didn't use one. We had so much work to do (4 months long), that everything basically was new when we moved it. I just scrubbed the heck out of the bathroom.

I've moved and helped too many people move into new houses and I've found that it's really not so bad to clean a house top to bottom when it's empty. Unless the previous owners/tenants were pigs (as I've also experienced), then it's a little more elbow grease. I don't think you really need to hire someone. It's basically the bathrooms, kitchen & floors.

Immm to anal, I like to pinesol the insides of the closets, draws, no one cleans a bathroom as good as you... Ive always cleaned my own places before moving in

Mom and I scrubbed the house this past weekend. I'm picky and won't feel like it's clean unless I do it ourselves.

Previous owner had a Company come in the day of the closing for us, so when we turned the key it was spotless.

we turned the key and it was spotless, they had waxed our wood floors, scrubbed the bathrooms, vacuumed, did the windows.. honestly, i think these people were pretty anal, but it helped that we could just move in and not have to scrub anything
