Has anyone gotten a Balance Bike for their toddlers?

I saw a program on these, and how they fit in much better developmentally for toddlers than a trike, it teaches them balance on a bike with no pedals, then they can move onto a regular bike with ease and no training wheels. I have read lots of great reviews, and found myself ordering one for my DS 2nd bday, but was wondering if anyone here has used it, and if it your child actually took to it?
