For those of you who have big purses

What do you put in it? I usually have a small purse because I don't like to carry that much stuff. Do you just fill it up with junk because there is room? Do you carry useful things?

I have a few big bags that I switch around depending on my outfit.

During the work week I actually have a smaller bag inside the big bag. So I keep all my usual stuff (wallet, brush, checkbook, phone, gloss) in the smaller bag that way switching bags to match every morning isn't a bige deal.

If I am using a big bag for everyday use I don't fill it up. I carry the same amount of stuff that I would if I had a smaller bag.

I don't necessarily carry a lot of things but I like to have the option of throwing things in my bag if I need to. I work in the city so sometimes I wear sneakers during my commute and if I'm going out afterwards I like to be able to just throw them in my bag as opposed to carrying extra bags.

Yea I have tons of crap! I dont think I can live with a small bag. I carry the following items:

- wallet
- gps
- pepper spray
- hand sanitizer
- Aunt Flo bag with tampons, tylenol, wipes, tums, band aid etc...
- cell phone
- keys
- sometimes I have bills
- perfume

In my bigger bags I can fit stuff like my coupon book, my glasses, a water bottle, sunscreen. When I carry my small purse I can only fit my phone, wallet, and keys.

I commute into the city so my bag is giant. I have a wallet (it's pretty big), a makeup bag with some essentials (tampons, panty liners, Tide stick, bandaids, safety pin, hair ties, tylenol...), I have my planner, I have my Ipod, my cell phone, usually a book or a magazine, a scarf...

Sometimes I switch on the weekends to a smaller bag, sometimes I just grab my wallet and go.
