Cost to paint???

We are looking to paint the inside of our home- 4 beds, 2.5 baths- the entire house other than the basement. Anyone do this recently and can give me a range of what they paid?

We painted 3 bedrooms, 6 closets, a kitchen (with not that much wall), living room, hallway and dining area ourselves - walls and ceilings.

For primer, wall & ceiling paint (Benjamin Moore) and accessories, it probably cost us about $500. And a couple weekends worth of work. I know you are looking for professional costs but this may be helpful for comparing.

We recently had our living room, dining room, kitchen, entry way, 2 hallways and a bathroom painted and it cost us $1,500. All paint was done with BM paints and we were very satisifed with the work. This took 4 1/2 days (we had wallpaper borders that had to be removed and there was a 2nd wallpaper underneath as well).

We did - $5000-6000. Precision Painting Plus out of Copiague.

4 beds, 2.5 baths - same as you - everything except basement. Cathedrl ceilings in bed, bath, and foyer.

I cannot praise them enough!!! Seriously. They were so neat, so clean, and they painted stripes on our LR wall. They really did a phenomenal job. We recommend them to everyone we can. We got them out of an ad in the Pennysaver. Licensed and Insured.

We got quotes that ranged from $5k to $22k.
