Oil - should I lock in?
I'm being quoted $2.50/gallon. Should I sign the contract and lock in???? (this includes a service contract).

Re: Oil - should I lock in?
I just got oil yesterday and I was quoted that the price of the day was $3.49 gallon so that seems like a good price.

WHAT? Did you mean $2.49?
For the past month SMS has been quoting in the $2.10-$2.30 range for 250 gallons
I think $2.50 is a good rate for winter

I will look again but I am 99% sure the card said the price for the average customer that day was $3.49.

Oil hasn't been over 3 for a while. I would call and complain if they charged for $3.49
