question about bed (bedding)

So my whole life I have always had platform beds so I only used a mattress (no box spring)

We just bought a new bedroom set and we are using the boxspring and mattress. So now our bed is really high, which I love but on the sides of the bed you can see the boxspring, and I don't like that.

Do you put a fitted sheet on the boxspring, or a bed skirt, or is yours just visible? If you have any pics that would be great.

Sorry if this sounds stupid but I love our new bed but I hate that the sides of the boxspring are visible and I have never had this problem before

TIA

Re: question about bed (bedding)

I say bedskirt too...this is what we have.

Here's a pic....not sure if you can recognize the skirt piece though b/c it blends in pretty well.

ETA: another pic....you can see bedskirt in mirror reflection too

I use a fitted sheet, and in one of my guest rooms i have a queen size bed, with a king comforter, so you dont see under.
